Are you ready?
If you are unfamiliar with marriage and family therapy, be assured that you don't have to be married or bring your family to therapy! Marriage and family therapists help individuals, couples, & families to view things from a systemic approach. This means how family behaviors, including our extended family, community, and other meaningful relationships, influence mental health.
Denise's clinical experience includes working with individuals suffering from anxiety, adult and childhood ADHD, depression, grief, low self-esteem, PTSD, suicide ideation, and traumatic events, including sexual assault and abuse. She has worked with individuals, couples, families, the elderly, LGBTQIA+, and those navigating grief, separation, divorce, and blended family issues.
Denise is a psychology Ph.D. student specializing in trauma at Northcentral University. She earned a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Capella University in 2020 and a bachelor's degree in psychology from William Jessup University in 2015. She is a member of the Delta Kappa International Marriage and Family Honor Socie
